TNPSC CESE 2022 Notification Vacancy Details 2022

Applicants who want to appear for TNPSC CESE 2022: Combined Engineering Services Examination (CESE 2022) need to know about the vacancy details, the application process, Eligibility Criteria & Education Qualification, the age limit, Selection Process, and also know the Exam Pattern, the Syllabus 2022.

All recruitments by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission are purely merit-based. The one-time registration will be valid for five years from the date of registration. Thereafter, the registration should be renewed by paying the prescribed fee.

One Time Registration is valid for five years from the date of registration. After
completion of five years, the applicant must renew the One Time Registration by
paying the fee prescribed.

Linking Aadhaar number with One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory for applicants.

Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC CESE 2022

Educational qualifications and Age Limits for Combined Engineering Services Examination (CESE 2022)

Educational Qualifications

• Passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
• A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B-tech) in Related Trade.

The educational qualifications prescribed for these posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the following order of studies viz. 10th + HSC/Diploma or its equivalent + U.G. Degree + P.G. Degree. The results of the examination should have been declared on or before the date of Notification.

Age Limit (As of 1st July 2022)

• Minimum Age – 18 Years
• Maximum Age – 32* Years

Age Relaxation SC / ST / Female for 5 Years
The maximum age limit for Ex-servicemen is 50 years

TNPSC CESE 2022 Selection Process

The CES Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Section Officers will be conducted in the following successive stages :

• Written Examination (OMR METHOD)
• Interview.

The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the written examination and oral test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Applicant’s appearance in the written examination and oral test is compulsory. Applicants should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.

Those who have registered in the One-Time Registration system and paid the registration fee of Rs.150/- and received the registration ID need not pay the Registration fee i.e., Rs.150/- and it is enough to pay the examination fee alone.
