Educational Qualifications & Experience

PRINCIPAL:

• Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
• B.Ed. (a course prescribed by NCTE) from an institution recognized by NCTE and
  affiliated to a recognized University.
• Experience: Persons holding analogous post or Post of Principal in Central/ State Govt. /Autonomous Organization of the Central/State Govt. in the pay band of Rs. 15600 39100 with GP of Rs.5400/- / current pay level -12 of ORSP Rules, 2017.
• The length of service for the experience purpose of PGT Computer Science shall be
  considered from the date of passing the B.Ed. if he has not passed B.Ed. prior to joining
  as PGT Computer Science.

TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHERS (TGTs) :

• Four years integrated Degree Course in the concerned subject from any Institution
  recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate(45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC
  candidates);
• OR, Bachelor Degree in Arts & Science in the concerned subjects with 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates) along with a degree in Bachelor in Education/ 3 years integrated B. A, B.Ed (a course prescribed by the NCTE) from an Institution recognized by the NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University.
• TGT (Science): Bachelor’s Degree in Science having any three subjects out of the following i.e. Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, and Life- Science.
• TGT (Maths): Bachelor’s Degree in Science with at least 200 marks in Math as a Subject with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Application, Statistics.
• Proficiency in teaching both in Odia and English medium.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application

Note: Candidates having Special B.Ed or D.Ed. are not eligible for the post of TGTs

Physical Education Teacher (PET)

Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Physical Education recognized University/Institution.

Librarian (Initial Appointee)

• Bachelor degree in Library Science OR Graduate with one-year Diploma
• Library Science from a recognized institution

Age Limit (As of 1st January 2021)

For the post of Principal

• Minimum Age – 32 Years
• Maximum Age – 50 Years

For all other posts (TGT, PGT, PET &, etc.)

• Minimum Age – 21 Years
• Maximum Age – 32 Years

Age Relaxation SC / ST / Female for UPTO 5 Years

Selection Process
