JEE Main Examination 2023 — For Academic Session 2023-24, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2023) and Session 2 (April 2023). The details for Session 1 (January 2023) and Session 1 (April 2023) are given below:

Candidates who want to appear for JEE (Main) Examination 2023 need to know about the application process, Eligibility Criteria & Education Qualification, age limit, and Selection Process and also know the Exam Pattern, and Syllabus 2023.
The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments.
JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.
A candidate can apply for Session 1 and pay the examination fee for Session 1 in the given
duration. If a candidate wishes to apply for Session 2 also, he/she has to log in again when the window will be re-opened after the conduct of Session 1 and pay the Examination Fee for Session 2 during that period.
JEE Main Exam Date 2023
The JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in 02 (two) sessions for admissions in the academic session 2023-24. This will give two opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they are not able to give their best in one attempt.

Educational Qualifications
- Appearing/Passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board.
Age Limit
For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates.
- The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022,
- or, appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2023 examination
