Eligibility Criteria for DU Post-Graduate Admission 2022
Educational qualifications and Age Limits for Post-Graduate Admission in The University of Delhi [DU]. The candidates are advised to ascertain the Minimum Eligibility Criteria for the program(s) they are applying for.
Educational Qualifications
- Passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50%.

Selection Process
The Competitive Examination for Admission to the Post-Graduate Program will be conducted in the following successive stages :
- Merit-Based (only for DU Students)
- OR, Online Examination (CBT)
Almost all the Departments/centers of the University, except those that offer interdisciplinary or professional programs, have two modes of admission for Postgraduate Programs:
- MERIT BASED: 50% of the total seats will be filled on the basis of the candidate’s merit in the Qualifying Examination. Wherever applicable, the MERIT BASED option is open only for the candidates who have eligible Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delhi.
- ENTRANCE TEST BASED: Remaining 50% of the total seats will be filled on the basis of candidates’ rank in Entrance Test. The distribution of seats in Merit/Entrance based admission is provided by the respective Departments/ Centers.
The admission/standing committee will consider the eligibility of such Degrees that are not mentioned here at the time of admission, and the decision of the admission/standing committee will be final.

Admit Card For DUET 2022
The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to their satisfying eligibility conditions. The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website. Dates for downloading admit cards will be intimated later on the website @nta.ac.in. Candidates have to appear for the Examination at the given Centre on the Date and Shift (Timing) as indicated in their Admit Card.
Registration/Admission of Foreign Nationals
All candidates holding a foreign passport including those who have completed their previous qualifying degree from an Indian University/board will be treated as Foreign Candidates for the purpose of their Registration/Admission in various Departments/Colleges of the University and they will be considered for admission under the quota (As per AC resolution No. 304) prescribed for the foreign students.
The Foreign Candidates seeking admission to Postgraduate Programs need to apply through Foreign Students’ Registry Portal http://fsr.du.ac.in. No Foreign student will be admitted directly by the Department / Colleges.
